Happy Friday! It is hard to believe that it is Thanksgiving break. I will share a bit of information with you yet most of all want to tell you how thankful I am for all of you, including your children. I am thinking of how wonderful our school community is and counting my blessings for being able to work with all of you. I hope you have a wonderful break and enjoy your time together.
Hats for all kids:
Today every student at Campbell received a hand knitted hat from Ms. Carol. She is the mother of our Assistant Director of Special Education. She knitted 150 hats for our kids! So amazing. The students were so happy and many wore it all day.
Registration opens soon:
Registration for next year opens on December 5th. You can register through Enroll Jeffco. As of today, our understanding is that you will apply for a preschool/school spot now and then in February you will apply for UPK (preschool only). We will keep you posted as we continue to learn more about UPK funding. But Jeffco registration opens on the 5th for all students.
Campbell Open House:
In order to celebrate our school and offer an opportunity for new families to check out our incredible community, we are hosting a family night on December 4th from 4-6 pm. We are calling it our Campbell Cougar Cub Quest. Come and enjoy some dinner and explore our school. We will also have a project where current students can leave their “print” on Campbell. This is our first art piece that we will frame and put up at school with all kids contributing.
PTA meeting and committees:
PTA will meet on the 27th at 5:30 pm in the library. We will be breaking into committees to plan the December Teacher Appreciation Event and the Winter Event!

Pick up at end of the day:
After Thanksgiving break, all classrooms will be picking up at the end of the day at the outside classroom door. A few classrooms were picking up inside due to the wasps but that is no longer an issue. Thanks everyone!
2nd Cup of Coffee:
On December 18th we will be hosting our first “2nd Cup of Coffee”. This is a drop in opportunity to talk with me, Holly, about Campbell and I will be sharing about our work with staff and students. I would love to share this time and learn from each other. Plus we get to have some coffee and a donut together. Please join me and we will plan to do this once a month in the mornings.
